About Tim Shaw
I have been in the real estate business full time since 1974! I am originally from St Louis and come from a long line of Realtors and Developers there, my family has been in business in developing and selling land and homes in St Louis since 1922, my Grandfather Charles Shaw was Mayor of Clayton Mo in the late 30's and they are currently known as Tom Shaw Realtors. I have lived in Las Vegas since 1954, own a home there, and maintain a residence in the Entrada Golf and Country Club in St George Utah. I have enjoyed playing baseball, tennis with enthusiasm, Sea Scouting and sailing in Newport, Skiing and Scuba Diving and horseback riding and hiking everywhere! I graduated from Rancho High School in 1966, then attended the University of Nevada (UNR) Reno graduating with a degree in Spanish and Foreign Relations. I was a member of the Nevada Air National Guard and then the US Air Force Reserve stationed at Nellis AFB as a Medic.
I have been a Broker-Salesman in Las Vegas since 1974 specializing in Land zoning and sales, all types of Commercial leasing and sales such as office, retail, and Industrial, worked on Clark County Masterplanning, and served on GLVAR Government Affairs for 10 years changing a few ordinances and County regulations detrimental to Real Estate ownership for the public, and served on Professional Standards for 10 years. I have helped many people deal with land acquisition, rezoning, water issues, master plans, builders of all types, and 1031 tax deferred exchanges to preserve their investments. My wife Jeri for 49 years and I enjoy traveling and hiking in Southern Utah. I look forward to serving you!
